These will be in the post tomorrow for the R.S.P.C.A. to use for the fur babies they so wonderfully care for. They arent expecting them so should be a nice suprise for them I hope. One has a christmas colour theme to it & the other was great fun to do in the stripy pattern. I have started blankie #5 it is brown & cream so my beautiful daughter named it cookies & cream.

What little girl wouldn't love a pink cow bib? After playing in my software with the name it looked best arched across the top as I have stitched out. You can purchase this one or a different wiggly bib on my site bubs-bibs-n-burps. I love personalizing baby items :)

no more loosing my mobile

in the bottom of my bag looksie at what I made for ME. Its just the shot all padded so no more scratches on my phone & now when it rings or beeps I dont have to forage for it at the bottom of my hand bag :D soooo cool. I made it to match my bag I made ages ago & it hangs from the strap nicely dont you think?! ;) I am very happy with how it turned out & it was all done on my emb machine!!

I am having such a neat time making these. I love how they all turned out. DD wants each one of them LOL. Am going to try adding some names/initials to them also & some male type designs for the memory stick holders

Are you loosing your memory

stick that is! lol. Are you someone who uses a memory stick a lot for work or study, maybe to take photos to a friends pc? Then you need one of these. They are a memory stick holder that you can put onto your keyring, lanyard or anywhere else you want to. Put a clip onto the ring & you could clip it to your belt, bag or ??? If you don't have a memory stick you may like to use it as my daughter does, she puts her lip gloss/chap stick in it & has it attached to her pencil case at school.

Ladybird ladybird fly away home........

Can you remember the above nursery rhyme? I can I loved it as a child & while stitching this ladybird scissor keeper it kept going through my head. She is hanging near my embroidery machine so I will always know where my scissors are now.

Any one up for a game ? I made this the other night on my embroidery machine. My kids love it. Is made all in 1 hooping & using felt so the pieces "stick" together. Will be good for taking in the car, we shall try it this weekend when we head into the next town for the day. I have the 3rd set stitching out now on the machine as I type :)

Blankies for fur babies

As well as sewing I also like to crochet, but only in winter time as summer where I live is way to hot for playing with wool! Anyways I am a member of a great forum called All For Women, it is an awesome site with great members. Anyways one of the members has whipped us into knitting or crocheting blankies for the animal shelters for winter. Being an animal lover I had to join in & got out my wool & hook :) So far I have made the 2 blankies you see here & have started a 3rd.

I also heard backon Friday that I passed module 1 of my Digitise-Wise course...........YAY!!! Am just stitching out module #3 to send in for assessing am slowly gaining more confidence in myself & digitizing :)

Yeah I know its a crappy pic I will try to get a better one soon. Got some busy days ahead. Anyway these are MY jammies I got the fabricfor $2 a meter last year & have been hanging for the cooler weather to come so I could make me some new jammies lol. Very comfy & warm. I love cats we currently have 2, unfortunately Thunder passed away a couple of weeks ago. If I could convice my husband I would have at least 6 lolling about the house, but alas as I cant I can console myself with all the cats on my jammies :)

Apple Delight

Well the nights are getting cooler here in Aust & time to rug up at night with some nice warm flannie pyjama's. This year Natasha requested a nightie not PJ's, this was what I made for her on the weekend. She picked the fabric herself & my Mum sent me the perfect buttons for it dont you agree? When the pink apple buttons turned up on Friday Natasha instantly claimed them for her nightie (which is what they were for anyway LOL)

By the smile on her face I think she is happy with the results dont you ?

A bit of history

Otherwise known as "about me" I am a 30something year old Mum of 2 (mostly) sweet kids. I have been sewing since I was "knee-high to a grasshopper" my Mum says. She is sweet also :) I learnt the wonderful art of sewing at about 5yrs old & over the years have fine tuned my craft & made plenty of mistakes, which I think I am supposed to learn from but am sure I have repeated some of them!
Now days I love to sew for my children, myself & my website. I haven't been bitten by the patchwork or quilting bug............YET but my interests are being pricked by these crafts. I also machine embroider & am a beginning to digitize with success so far.
We reside in rural Western Australia with our fur-babies & hubby as well. Through out my posts you will get to see them at some stage or another ;)
